On a side note, if you experience delays when sending mails to the tech-talk list, the reason might be that you are sending using an email address that does not match the address you used when subscribing to tech-talk. The list server forwards every "post by non-member to a members-only list" to the list moderators for manual approval, which is quite effective for filtering out spam mails, but can introduce delays when your email addresses don't match. The easiest way to check/update your subscription address is through the Tech-Talk web page. People who don't want to receive mails (e.g. because they prefer subscribing via RSS feed or are on vacation) may either subscribe and configure the list server not to send mails (possible through the web interface) or humbly ask the list administrator (Andrew) for their email address to be put on the 'accept'-filter.
