All of the solutions we are aware of are talking to the Ethernet interface of the communication processor (CP) of the PLCs. (exchanging process data) Diagnostics are available on the Ethernet port of the main CPU. This may provide a Web server or other diagnostics. What kind of diagnostics are you interested in? A heart beat could also be implemented in the PLC's exec code and be transferred through the CP. There's support for a broken Ethernet link in the driver (records get invalid)...

I do not know of any support to communicate with this port.
