Thank you Andrew, the link you provided is a windows msi file. It seems 
that I have to install the extensions on a windows pc to get the dll's I 
need. Matthias found the wireshark-for-EPICS implementation on the KEK 
web-pages: http://www-linac.kek.jp/cont/epics/wireshark/#ca101
It seems to be quite new. The size of the separately downloadable file 
ca.dll is 136k.
When this is ok, I take this.
