I committed your medm code modification to medmCartesianPlot.c and added a description of
the change in the New Features section of MEDM.doc. The change will be in the next medm release.

Ken Evans no longer works on MEDM, he left the Controls group to form the 
Scientific Software section of the BCDA group.

Janet and I will continue to make minor changes to MEDM like this one that are 
required to keep it building and working on the standard APS platforms, but 
we're never likely to add any significant new functionality to it now.

Feel free to raise the issue of what should replace MEDM if you ever get some 
time with APS management, we don't have the humanpower left in our group to 
solve that particular issue, although we have requested more resources as 
part of the APS Renewal program.
