EDM Properties Windows

Hello,

I am working with EDM 1.12 to make a control display. Things are going
ok, however the various properties windows are not the right size and
the titles on the left side of the screen for a lot of the input boxes
are cut off. Being that I have not used this program before I have no
idea what these boxes control or even what to search for in the
manual. If anyone has a suggestion on how to show all the text it
would be appreciated.

I am using Fedora Core 8, and 7 and this issue happens in a VM windows
as well as a regular Linux work environment.
I have tried simply resizing the window but the controls in the window
do not refresh.
There are no scroll bars to show the text.
