Subject: EPICS 3.13 - 3.14 compatibility

I would like to ask a question about compatibility between IOC targets
running different versions of EPICS. Say I have a VME/vxWorks IOC
running EPICS version 3.13.10 and a Linux IOC running EPICS version
3.14.10. Would they be able to interface with each other? Could one IOC
read and write to EPICS records in the other IOC's database and vice
versa?
