Experimental Physics and Industrial Control System
Release Candidate (RC1) version of EPICS Base R3.14.11 is now available for
download and testing. This release has incorporated many enhancements, new
features and bug fixes which are described in the Release Notes, for example:
* Record aliases
* Configurable Universal Binaries on Darwin
* Additional PINI and initHook states
* New Maximize Severity link options MSI and MSS
* New CA monitor event type DBE_PROPERTY
* Support for long strings
* ISR-safe time and event provider API
* Compile-time assertions
* Many CA and CAS bugs fixed

If no major problems are uncovered within the next week, R3.14.11 will be
