My final goal is to use the mouse cursor to 1) locate the ROI and 2) 
have one-click to
activate the EPICS IOC event to perform the ROI .  At this point, ImageJ 
pligins
do 1) , but not 2).  I have modified the TwoDProfileMonitorClass so that 
I can
do 1) , but not yet 2).  Can your S/W  perform 2) (e.g. the one-click 
activation) ?
Anyway, with the absence of  the one-click activation, one can still type in
the (X,Y) location of the ROI.
