That is a good item of general interest. Probably would need something
that cleans up HTML source so that common XML code could be used for
reading either HTML or XML sources. Any of several XML libraries could
be used: libxml, lxml, or mxml. Describing the XML "device" for the INP field, and how that maps to an XML node such as through XPATH, might be an interesting challenge. Will there be a codeathon with the upcoming EPICS meeting? This is a candidate.
