The intention was: When the native type is not a float/double or the 
field is not VAL, the precision in the PREC field may not apply.
But in this case the server forces the precision to 0 or stupidly uses 
the precision for VAL, so it actually gets honoured.
Hm ... that bracket text should probably be changed.

What about "(server-side conversion)"?
Or just the minor fix "(honours server-side precision)"?
