Bruce,I have successfully controlled a PI M-810 (http://www.physikinstrumente.com/en/products/prdetail.php?sortnr=700880) over a serial connection from a soft ioc running on a linux (RHEL 5) computer using the stream support for PI hexapods written by Mark Boots.
I found the support on the standard EPICS hardware page: http://www.aps.anl.gov/epics/modules/manufacturer.php#Physik%20Instrumente Here's the direct link to the git repository: http://beamteam.usask.ca/mark/git/?a=summary&p=PIHexapod The support should work for the M-850 controller. Hi, We're going to be using the PI M824 Hexapod with the M850 controller on an upcoming experiment, and I'm wondering if anyone has an EPICS IOC that works with that controller. Thanks, - Bruce
