Experimental Physics and Industrial Control System
Hi!
I was able to compile ChannelArchiver with latest epics base (3.14.12.1)
after some minor tweaking. I am trying to follow documentation closely.
I created directory tree under /arch and put xml files there. The tree
was actually built by update_archive_tree.pl script.
When I try to run ArchiveEngine command I have the following error in
the log file:
09/26/2011 10:14:49 Starting Engine with configuration file
x12-b-group.xml, index 2011/09_21/index
09/26/2011 10:14:49 Creating ChannelAccess Context.
09/26/2011 10:14:49 Removing memory for channels and groups.
09/26/2011 10:14:49 Stopping ChannelAccess.
09/26/2011 10:14:49 Engine main routine:
../EngineConfig.cpp (59): 'x12-b-group.xml': Error in write_period
write_period is the first element in xml file, if I change order of
elements in the file, the error would be in the other one (first again!)
It seems that xml parsing is not going correctly and it is triggering
exception. engineconfig.dtd file is copied from the examples directory
and is being read by the program - any attempts to fiddle with it cause
obvious errors.
Any ideas on what is going on here would be much appreciated.
Thanks.
Leon
