Experimental Physics and Industrial Control System
All,
I was hoping to use labCA on a 64 bit Windows 7 machine but since I
don't have time currently to build a 64 bit labCA I tried the following:
64 bit Windows 7 running 32 bit Matlab 2010a
used by 32 bit build of labCA 3.1
when I do an lcaGet I see that Matlab starts caRepeater but it does not
find the PV requested
>> lcaGet('RF1DSP01_ticks')
Initializing labCA Release '$Name: labca_3_1 $'...
Author: Till Straumann<[email protected]>
??? Error using ==> lcaGet
multi_ezca_get_nelem - ezcaGetNelem(): could not find process variable
: RF1DSP01_ticks
I downloaded and ran Carsten Winkler's CA Watcher, a Java Channel Access
application (thanks Carsten!), and this works. So it is not a network or
firewall issue.
Any ideas?
Or does anyone have a 64 bit Windows build of labCA?
Happy Holidays,
