I've also had difficulty in getting the wireshark-ca plugin to work (I was never successful). So instead I wrote a plugin using the new(ish) Lua script interface to wireshark. I've used this plugin successfully with wireshark 1.2.11 and 1.8.2.

Hope this can be of use,

Hi Eric,
the KEK-improved version 1.0.2 (minor-modified version for Wireshark 1.4.6 or later) seems to be missing in action, but you can download a bit older version here http://users.cosylab.com/~mvitorovic/wireshark-ca-1.0.1.tar.gz (production version with Wireshark 0.99.8 or 0.99.7)
Hope this helps. If you make it work with the latest wireshark version, please post a link here...

I'm trying to locate the plugin for Wireshark for analyzing CA traffic described in this paper:

The link in the paper (http://www-linac.kek.jp/cont/epics/wireshark/) no longer works, my browser is unable to connect to www-linac.kek.jp.
Thanks,
