Gabriele,

We were producing our own product for a while but this seemed to become 
a bit of overhead since the Basic EPICS product has what we need for now.

Note that I looked around for some config information for PVManager in 
the CSS help to either disable this.  It might be helpful to add some 
items in the help to show what is needed (as from Kay's response) to 
help with configuration since this is not configured via preferences.  
The conscious decisions are made by developers, not the users.  This 
would allow the warning messages to stay.
