Product: EPICS Windows Tools -- Error 1721. There is a problem with this Windows Installer package. A program required for this install to complete could not be run. Contact your support personnel or package vendor. Action: _C64BF50F_FECC_4987_9245_67049C9EB83D, location: C:\Program Files\EPICS Windows Tools\SetupFiles\bcastEnvChange.exe, command: /Install
I had previously installed VirtualLinacSetup (which is from 2004? Is that the latest version?) which was successful, but starting it was problematic without medm, leading me to realize that EPICSWindowsTools was required. I uninstalled VirtualLinacSetup and rebooted. I still get the same error.
I'm sure my account has administrator access. I'm trying to install using the default parameters. I don't have Exceed installed. (I'm guessing medm needs an X server, but I can install Xming later, yes?)
Any thoughts? Thanks, Ryan
