Daniel, I assume you mean TwinCAT PLC runtime on the CX9020? Do you have the optional Modbus TCP interface from Beckhoff? The other alternative is the TwinCAT ADS communication interface. I believe LIGO have a TwinCAT-EPICS interface using the ADS interface: https://dcc.ligo.org/LIGO-T1300690/public Investigating the most effective and reliable integration method for Beckhoff TwinCAT 3 PLC runtime into EPICS is something on our TODO list here at Daresbury. Whilst it’s on the list we haven’t yet got around
to trying the Modbus interface or the ADS interface with EPICS. We have motion control and RF modulator systems which we intend to integrate in this manner. Graham From: BOGARD
