All,To reduce some considerable amount of #ifdef'd code (that has been largely untested for years) I am planning to remove the CA Gateway's 3.13 compatibility features. That means: future versions of the CA Gateway will not compile against EPICS Base 3.13 anymore. Note that the Channel Access protocol connects across even larger version gaps - a Gateway compiled against 3.14 or 3.15 will continue to work perfectly with IOCs or clients using EPICS 3.13.
Anyone here to whom this will pose an unsurpassable difficulty should speak up now (and be ready to take responsibility) or forever hold your peace.
