Subject: | NDTransform Image Delay |

I am using the NDTransform plugin for AreaDetector, so I am able to rotate images acquired by a camera. This works completely fine, unless the acquire time of the camera is 0.1 or smaller (reading in images at 10Hz or faster). At these rates, there is a delay applied to the camera, i.e, if the camera sees something different, the image the AreaDetector software returns won’t show the change for around 5 seconds. I assumed that the rotation was just taking a long
time to process, but the overlays I apply after the transformation have no delay at all. I have also noticed that when this delay occurs, the ‘DroppedArrays’ PV for the NDTransform plugin increases.
Is there a way to stop this delay from happening? Thanks, Mike |
