Hi Michael,

Here is a link to a Measurement Computing USB board with 64 channels, 16-bit, 1 Ms/s. Price= $1,150.

http://www.mccdaq.com/usb-data-acquisition/USB-2533.aspx

I have EPICS support for some of their modules on Windows, and others have Linux drivers.

Mark

Subject: mid-speed digitizer options?

All,

I've been asked for advise on finding a digitizer for a fast thermometry
application (RTDs). The desire is for a sampling range in the range of
50-100 KSPS with 16-bit resolution over +-10 V. There will be ~200
channels in total, so I think a high density solution would be
appropriate. Pre-existing epics support is of course a plus.

The first solution to come to my mind is industry pack. Something like
the hytec IP-VAD-8418.

What options are available for this "middle" speed range?

Thanks,
Michael
