https://www.bnl.gov/HR/careers/ to Job # 672 The Photon Science Division of NSLS-II at Brookhaven National Laboratory is seeking an outstanding scientist to become the Group Leader in Scientific Computing & Data Acquisition, Data Management, Data Analysis.. The position will establish
a cutting-edge scientific computing program in support of experimental data collection, analysis and data management at National Synchrotron Light Source II (NSLS-II) beamlines.
Responsibilities of this position include: (a) leading a group of scientists and engineers to meet the computing needs at NSLS-II beamlines, (b) collaborating with beamline scientists to define and implement the best strategies and approaches
in data acquisition, scientific data handling, management, visualization, and analysis for the purpose of enhancing scientific productivity and impact at NSLS-II, and (c) planning and developing scientific data storage and processing strategies that anticipates
the growing needs of the NSLS-II. The position classification offered will be commensurate with the candidate’s depth and breadth of experience. Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
