Hi Saeed, An Ethernet port is required and with your CPU that means you need a communication module and it does not matter which CP343 you choose. All of them should work with “s7nodave” or “s7plc”. For “s7plc” some Step7 programming on the PLC has to be done according to the document referenced in Remi’s answer below. For “s7nodave” nothing needs to be done in Step7 or TIA-Portal apart from the network settings of your CP. Regards, Jens Von: [email protected] [mailto:tech-talk-bounces@aps.anl.gov] Im Auftrag von saeed haghtalab Hi Olivier, Jens and Remi, thanks for your good comments. I use old version of SIMATIC Manager v5.5 and I think I wont have problems that Remi had. Also, I have a CPU 315-2DP now and it has one MPI port and one(or two) Profibus port. As I know, there isn't any driver to communicates EPICS with PLC by MPI or Profibus; so I decided to get a Communication Processor (CP343-1). but now I don't know which one is the best choice?(among 343-1 Lean, 343-1 and 343-Advanced) and do both Industrial Ethernet TCP/IP and PROFINET IO works well with s7nodave and "s7plc" module? Thanks again Best regards, S. Haghtalab On Wed, Apr 27, 2016 at 4:23 PM, Remi Faure <[email protected]> wrote: Hi Jens and Saeed,
