Hi Mike,
The problem is this line:
drvAsynIPPortConfigure("CFHT", "128.171.83.145:8912<http://128.171.83.145:8912 > HTTP", 10, 0, 1)
The last argument to drvAsynIPPortConfigure is noProcessEos, and you have set it to 1. That means you have disabled EOS processing. You need to set that last argument to 0, not 1.
Mark

Subject: Question about ASYN setting Input & Output EOS
Setting the input and output EOS fails for me.
A portion of my startup script:
drvAsynIPPortConfigure("CFHT", "128.171.83.145:8912<http://128.171.83.145:8912 > HTTP", 10, 0, 1)
asynOctetSetInputEos("CFHT",0,"\n") [http://www.gemini.edu/images/
Set EOS failed: CFHT setInputEos not implemented
asynOctetSetOutputEos("CFHT",0,"\n")
Set EOS failed: CFHT setOutputEos not implemented
What might be the problem? Did we not compile something into the ASYN module?
