Greetings,

I have a telescope system (our 8 meter primary mirror) which employs DTYP=vxWorks Variable in a ubiquitous manner.

In rtems this is not possible, so we're researching a refactor of the design. I've considered these two options below:

* a new device support module which exports key variables and updates them with sufficient scan rates. Our mirror loops are generally slow (as fast as 1 second).

* Use the SNCSEQ to keep C code and epics records synchronized.

Has anyone done something similar?
