Subject: | Archiver Appliance scripted alias record |

Hello, Is it possible to add a fake, aliased PV to the Archiver Appliance and then populate its history from another PV being stored. I have a waveform record that I have been recording but I need individual PVs for each index. I could store the
waveform and then the (200 odd) individual PVs. However, this looks like a nice job for a script: So, I have my 200 array waveform being archived: EBT-SOMESTUFF:BAR Then a script running on the archiver looks for a request like so and returns the first index of the waveform BAR: EBT-SOMESTUFF:BAR:M1 EBT-SOMESTUFF:BAR:M2 gives the second index of :BAR etc… If it is possible, could you point me in the direction of some scripting examples for the archiver. If it would not be possible or too complex, I can do this in code at the client end. Regards, Rory |
