Hi,

I have recently used PCASpy to drive GPIOs from raspberrypi.
Now I added an example for PWM as well.
https://github.com/paulscherrerinstitute/pcaspy/blob/master/example/rpi_gpio.py

In case you want to give it a try,
$ easy_install --user pcaspy

And run the example
$ python rpi_gpio.py

Turn on the PWM output
$ caput MTEST:PWM 1

Change the duty cycle 1-100
$ caput MTEST:DC 50

Change the frequency
$ caput MTEST:FREQ 10

Best
Xiaoqiang

Hello,

I have an actuator that is only ON/OFF mode. I would like to turn it on
or off proportionally to a certain dutycycle. (i dont wont to turn it on
or off faster then a sec, and i would like that the 100% duty would
correspond to it turned on during a minute)

simplest way to do it?
I saw that there is a pv called pulseTrain, altought i belive i
dont have it installed in my RasperryPi epics installation.
Should i proceed with it (how?) or there is a easiest way to do this?

Thanks in advance
