* PCIe-EVR-300DC * MTCA-EVR-300 and MTCA-EVR-300UOf course, MD stayed at ESS during this summer with bad weather. Thank you, Michael! :)
The MTCA platform support is the major goal in that branch, and at the same time PCIe-EVR-300 should be ready.
ESS needs to deploy the simple timing system a lot around EU. In order to reduce cost, we would like to have the stand-alone EVR instead of an external EVG inputs. This branch also has the full (?) support on this new feature.
We are evaluating this branch with linux_x86_64 and linux_ppc64xxxx. Technically, both are linux, but one is based on intel, and the other is on powerpc.
Once we have some results, which we would like to share with EPICS community, I will let you know.

Some incompatible changes have been made since the previous 2.1.0 release. The minimum required versions of Base and devlib2 have been updated.
