Hi Ernest—
We have been deploying PVAccess at operational neutron scattering beamlines at ORNL since January 2015. We use it for transmitting detector data to an AreaDetector-based service. The service generates plots for online views and counting criteria during the experiment. PVAccess is also used for transmitting detector diagnostics and calibration data. By the end of our current SNS maintenance outage, PVAccess will be in production at 15 SNS beamlines and 1 HFIR beamline, with more deployments scheduled.
This is not strictly EPICS 7. We are currently at an earlier release of EPICS 3 and EPICS 4.
