Hi Steve,

  Michael may answer your technical questions. However, I would like to 
emphasize one thing :

  One has to use the PSI version of the kernel driver [1] if one would 
like to use the PSI mrfioc2. Both versions are not compatible with each 
other in mostly latest HW (MTCA EVR, PCIE-EVR).

  The community mrfioc2 doesn't support the VME EVM 300 yet. Michael is 
working to support the MTCA EVM 300 now, because ESS would like to 
reduce the HW platform to MTCA and PCIE.

  Which OS do you use for VME-EVM-300, because PSI kernel driver 
makefile has few additional rules, which made me some troubles when ESS 
used it.
