Experimental Physics and Industrial Control System
Hi folks,
I have released StreamDevice 2.8 on github:
https://github.com/paulscherrerinstitute/StreamDevice
Thanks to everyone who has sent bug fixes.
Main new features:
* Support of the standard EPICS module build system (local configure/
folder) as requested by many. (Old system may still be used.)
* Compatibility with EPICS base up to 7.
- New record types int64in, int64out, lsi, lso.
- New data types INT64 and UINT64 in arrays.
* Improved record (re-)initialization: Run @init not only in iocInit but
as well on (re-)connect (if connection callbacks are supported by the
asyn port) and in iocRun after iocPause.
Several fixes:
* Building shared libraries on Windows.
* C++11 warnings.
* Signed/unsigned problems.
* Dropped support for cygnus-2.7.2 gcc (used by some old cygwin).
* Documentation updates.
* Other bug fixes.
