Find a PV by name within a jython Script

Hello everybody,

I would like to know if it is possible to read a PV value from a jython script without including it in the input PVs list.

Something like: getPVvalue( "my:py:value") or getDouble( "my:pv:value" )

I dont want to include the value of the PV in the input PV list, because is a high amount of PV and the name would depend on the utility of the OPI.
