Hi Ralph,

We need to support transport level security with SSL 1.2

Hi Abhay,

What requirement is it that doesn't allow you to use Channel Access?

Cheers,

Hi Team,

I am using EPICS OPI(Operator Interface) and the PVs on GUI are updated by channel access protocol used IOCs.
Due to some security requirement currently, we won't be able to continue using channel access protocol.
Is it feasible If I replace all the IOCs with OPC UA server but want to continue with same Operator OPI?
So in general OPI will get all the PV updates from the protocol supported by OUC UA and not Channel Access. (In this approach the IOC PV name and OPC UA tag name will be same)

Anyone have ever tried this? What can I do to achieve this?
Any suggestions/solution approaches are welcome.

Best Regards,
Abhay
