Hello, I am using Base EPICS 3.15.5. It is installed on the machine
which is accessed by me via SSH (IP 10.1.3.193 port 2222 with
login and password). On this machine the IOC is running.
Currently, channel access address is set to 10.1.3.192:5064 (EPICS_CA_ADDR_LIST = 10.1.3.192:5064, EPICS_CA_AUTO_ADDR_LIST=NO)
and on the machine accessed via SSH I can see values of PVs. This computer is not fast enough it is almost impossible to run
CS-studio on it. That is why I have downloaded CS-studio on my
local computer and now I am trying to configure CS-Studio and
channel access to be able to get PVs values. Unfortunately the
results are rather poor. In CS-Studio I still see that the PVs are
"Disconnected". I know that in CS-Studio in tab "Preferences"
there is field called "Chanel Access" where I can configure
parameters and I've been trying to change them with no success. I
know also that from IOC level I can configure channel access
server and client addresses but I am not sure how the
configuration should look like in this kind of subnets. Should CA server address should be the same as my machine
(10.1.3.193)? I would be grateful for any tips how I should configure CA and CS-Studio. Best regards, Kacper Kłys Student of Lodz University of Technology |
