Hello,

at the Helmholtz-Zentrum Berlin (  https://www.helmholtz-berlin.de/ ) we use the UniDrive SP
for motors at our undulators.

We use a CANOpen Module in the UniDrive SP and a mvme2100 VME CPU board with
an esd VME-CAN4 CAN Bus interface card (https://esd.eu/en/products/vme-can4 ).

To access the CAN bus from the VME system we use the MultiCAN ( https://www-csr.bessy.de/multican.html )

device support that was developed here. Our insertion device control program does not use the motor
record but a collection of longin and longout records to set up the device and to send commands.

Our UniDrive SP are also equipped each with an SM-Applications module which enhances their programming
capabilities.
