Hi, The download page for caLab doesn’t mention Windows XP, just Windows 7 and 10. If caLab was compiled on Windows 7 it will likely not work on Windows XP unless
the Windows XP platform toolset (v90) was used rather than the default. I think Visual Studio 2010 may include v90 by default, in other visual studio versions you may need to add support separately e.g.
https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/cpp/build/configuring-programs-for-windows-xp?view=vs-2015 If you are not able to recompile the caLab DLL from the source download, drop me an email and I’ll see if I can help out Regards,

On Behalf Of ?????? via Tech-talk Hi Carsten and others, I downloaded CaLab V1.6.0.10( 32 bit) -----Setup
for Windows© and LabVIEW™ 8.5 32 bit and higher (source code included) V1.6.0.10 (no
separate EPICScomponents required) JUN 2018. But when I run StartDemo.bat, I was told "softIOC.exe
was not a valid Win32 program" , "caput.exe was not a valid Win32 program". Then I tried the old version for labview7.0. It worked well but it didn't have the private file, which I need. And I saw the path, I think they both were good. I doubt the point was the OS, not sure. Could someone tell me how to do it. Thank you, Li Xing My pc OS name: Microsoft Windows XP Professional OS version: 5.1.2600 Service Pack 3 Build 2600 cpu: [01]: x86 Family 6 Model 58 Stepping 9 GenuineIntel ~3392 Mhz Labview: 32 bit of 2012. |
