Hello, I have twenty-two (x22) 64-Channel thermocouple measurement systems made by a company called Scanivalve Corp [0]. Specifically, each unit is a Scanivalve model DTS-4050-TX-64 [1,2]. These units provide the front-end signal conditioning
for 64 thermocouples (of all types) and produce the fully processed temperatures of each channel as engineering unit data via a TCP/IP connection [3]. I would like to develop an EPICS control system for these units to initiate the start and stop of the units
and to record their digital output over a tcp/ip channel. My question is - Is there anyone in the EPICs community who can give me some basic pointers about how to develop the needed EPICs module(s) assuming I understand the TPC/IP commands required and how the data returned is encoded? I would
be very grateful for some help getting started. Thank you, /Rich [1]
