Computer Systems Engineer within the Centre for Accelerator Science (CAS) open to all applicants. CAS operate
and develop 4 Tandem Particle Accelerator Facilities for both Accelerator Mass Spectrometry(AMS) and Ion Beam Analysis(IBA), visit our site

employer. The Computer
Systems Engineer
will work in the Accelerator System Development (ASD) group with a dynamic and diverse team of technicians and engineers. This position will have the opportunity to apply their broad experience and skills to meet the R&D challenges and maintenance
needs of CAS. The terms of the appointment are Ongoing, Full Time,
with a remuneration range of $97k - $108k +15.4% super AUD. Key Responsibilities and Duties: ·
Responsible for overseeing the operation and development of software systems and their integration with hardware to control, monitor and acquire data ·
Provide high level expertise to influence the direction of the computer systems development on the ANSTO accelerators. ·
Applying extensive experience, supervising, giving guidance to and training as necessary other computing staff and support technicians in the accelerator area to develop and maintain the computing infrastructure associated with
the daily operation of the accelerators. ·
Responsible for the administration of assigned computing systems, and setting priorities for staged management of routine maintenance and development. We are currently accepting applications with a deadline of
