I just stumbled across a problem in areaDetector:
I do a checkout of the module with
git clone --recursive https://github.com/areaDetector/areaDetector.git
and then get the latest release R3-7 with
git checkout R3-7
If I enable ADAravis and ADGenIcam, the ADAravis module fails, because it needs the latest master branch of aravis. One needs currently to check out version R1-0 of ADAravis to get a version that compiles. Is the areaDetector repository tag of R3-7 not linked to a specific commit of ADAravis?
