Thank you all for the suggestions for a trigger device manager.
In summary, the options were:
- zync board (EPICS softGlueZync)
- Custom device from ospreydcs.com
- electrostandards - Model 7215 relay switch with RS232 control
- Panda box (125 MHz clock)
- Zebra box (50 MHz clock)
My requirements are really low since I just want to route a slow triggering system (2 Hz max). Although the relay switch could work for this application, I will take a look at the zyncFPGA board with EPICS softGlueZync. This solution might offer other possibilities
for further improvements in the future.
Thank you all.
Best,
Nilson
softGlueZynq will do this. If there is a jitter requirement less than 10 ns, you will have to synchronize softGlueZynq's clocks to the master clock that generates the signals you're selecting among, or at least to a clock derived from that master clock.
Although this capability is working at two stations at APS, it's probably best viewed as a research project. The github version of softGlueZynq doesn't have it yet.

Subject: Suggestions for trigger manager deviceHi there.
I am looking for some suggestions for a device that would let me
(through epics) choose between different sources of pulse triggers.
In our beamline, we have a delay generator (DG645) from SRS to
synchronize multiple devices during acquisition with 1 input and 4
outputs. Since we have different devices that act as trigger source on
different experiments, our solution now is to change cables that
connects to our single input of the delay generator.
Is there a device with EPICS support that would allow me to manage this
triggering source?
Thank you.
Nilson Pereira.
