Hi,
The problem reported in this case is interesting, since it appears very repeatable. In that opening the full MEDM screen causes the problem.
To Galil users that have such a repeatable network issue. In my experience Galil will fix the firmware if the customer provides a network "log" they can
"play back" at their office to produce the error upon request. To capture this log use this command.
set PATH=C:\Program Files\Wireshark;%PATH%
dumpcap -i "LabNetwork" -b filesize:10000 -b files:100 -w capture.pcapng The command is referenced at the link below: https://www.wireshark.org/docs/man-pages/dumpcap.html The -i switch is the name of your interface. The first -b sets up the circular buffer capturing files up to a certain file size. The second one tell the buffer to rotate through n files. The -w is the base file name. Once you see the error, close the capture with CTRL+C.
Send the logs to Galil.
Recommend you try Troy Miller [email protected] who is their firmware expert. If you have trouble finding the correct contact, let me know. As a routine customer, I've worked with Galil for a while, and know some of the folks there.
Kind regards,
Mark
