Erratum: It has been brought to my attention that some info in my request above is incorrect. ITER does not use MDSplus. Though some labs associated with it may use it, it is not part ot the ITER stack as I incorrectly stated above.

MDSplus and EPICS have been used widely in tandem. Mostly notably at ITER as part of their Control and DAQ stack. on Tech-Talk There are precisely two posts: one from 2012 and one from 2018, and these aren't related. :-(
