Hi all,
Recently I have been working on diagnosing some problems with image stream freezing for some Prosilica cameras at one of our beamlines. At the moment they are all still using the ADProsilica driver, which can collect images from the camera just fine, but there
is a problem where image stream will stop intermittently requiring an IOC reboot. As a potential troubleshooting step, I decided it would be worth trying the ADVimba driver, since that uses an underlying API that is still supported. Unfortunately, while the
new ADVimba based IOC can connect to the camera and reports the model number, firmware version etc. the image stream never starts after starting acquisition.
I have played around with the various TriggerMode and TriggerSource options, but for every combination the only thing that happens when pressing "Acquire" is the detector state changes to "Waiting", but image rate remains 0 and no messages appear in the IOC
shell.
Is there something else I am missing to get this to work? Some background information:
ADCore Version: R3-10
EPICS Base Version: R7.0.5
ADGenICam Version: R1-8
ADVimba Version: master branch (As of this email)
Camera model: AVT_Manta_GT1290
I can also send over any other pertinent information.
Thanks in advance,
Jakub
