Hi John, You can use dbcar on the IOC generating the messages to see if there is indeed a CA link to the ioc-xx-uei01 IOC. You can use casr on ioc-xx-uei01 IOC to see if the other IOC is a CA client. Mark From: Tech-talk <tech-talk-bounces at aps.anl.gov>
On Behalf Of John Dobbins via Tech-talk All, We have an IOC (runnning in a TMUX window) which generates "Virtual circuit disconnect" messages, e.g. DB CA Link Exception: "Virtual circuit disconnect", context "ioc-xx-uei01.classe.cornell.edu:5064" The odd thing is that as far as I know this IOC doesn't connect to any PV in "ioc-xx-uei01". I am confused. John Dobbins Research Support Specialist Cornell High Energy Synchrotron Source Cornell University |
