All,
The ADEiger documentation reads:
"The generated files will be downloaded either if DataSource is set to FileWriter
or if SaveFiles is set to Yes. Files are downloaded as soon as they are available."
What does "as soon as they are available" mean, i.e. how is availability determined?
I asked because we encountered a problem in which the IOC was downloading stale
files from the previous acquisition.
The PV,
EIG500:EIG:FWAutoRemove was set to 'No', and EIG500:EIG:FWNamePattern was constant, so with each acquisition the files get overwritten on the DCU. The IOC was grabbing old files
before they got overwritten.
There was a time discrepancy between the DCU and the IOC. Would that lead the IOC
to determine the files were available when in fact they weren't.?
ADEiger version = 2.5
Thanks,
John Dobbins
