Subject: | Mimicking EVENT across IOCs |

All,
Based upon what I read (EPICS Process Database Concepts — EPICS Documentation documentation (epics-controls.org)), and correct me if I am
wrong, my understanding is that when an event number is posted through an EVENT record, it will only process records with the same event number in that IOC and cannot be done across different IOCs. I am curious to know if anybody has found a good way to "replicate"
event posting across IOCs. I am thinking about utilizing CPP flags, but not sure if that is a good solution.
Thanks,
Andy
