It’s time for your regular EPICS collaboration workshop update.

 

Due to popular demand driven by the current health and travel restrictions worldwide, we would like to inform you that the EPICS collaboration meeting in Ljubljana will have a virtual platform -- and you will be able to attend the collaboration meeting and the workshops remotely. 

 

We have arranged separate registrations (with reduced fee) for the remote options at: https://indico.cern.ch/event/1173788/registrations/.

 

The workshops on the 19. and 20.9 are proposed and are awaiting participants. The list is not 100% final - it depends on expressed interest and perhaps we will be able to add additional topics. We would also like to invite you to check in your preferences if you are interested in the topics and already registered. https://indico.cern.ch/event/1173788/page/25739-workshops-and-trainings

 

Otherwise, we invite you to register for the virtual or live event and invite you to present your work and the topics you believe would interest you at this September's EPICS collaboration meeting in Ljubljana (live or virtually)!  We prolonged the abstract deadline, but please provide us with the abstract and title by the latest 26. 8. 2022 at the https://indico.cern.ch/event/1173788/abstracts/.

We would like to invite you to present your work and the topics you believe would be of interest at this September's EPICS collaboration meeting in Ljubljana!  We prolonged the abstract deadline, but please provide us with the abstract and title by the latest 26. 8. 2022 at the https://indico.cern.ch/event/1173788/abstracts/.

 

The EPICS collaboration meeting is getting a more defined look, and the webpage is updated weekly at: https://indico.cern.ch/event/1173788/.
Note: the scientific program may change somewhat as we are still accepting suggestions (for workshops as well).

We received several questions/requests about remote participation (hybrid workshop) and we are currently checking if we can support this for the whole week. Expect to hear more about this shortly.

Dear Tech-Talkers,

 

Cosylab [1] and Josef Stefan Institute [2] will host the Fall EPICS Meeting 2022. The meeting is planned as in-person meeting and will take place in Ljubljana, Slovenia on September 21-23 (Wed-Fri).

 

The preceding Monday and Tuesday (September 19th and 20th, respectively) are reserved for workshops and working group meetings.

 

The workshop web site will set up very soon. All further announcements will be made here on tech-talk and the EPICS web site.

 

Ideas for workshops, trainings and technical tracks (sessions) are very welcome (minca.cufer at cosylab.com).
