I believe the basic handling of sample modes in the archiver appliance is basically the same as with the older channel archiver.
See https://controlssoftware.sns.ornl.gov/chanarch/manual.pdf, section 2.3 Sampling Options, specifically 2.4 Time Stamps, 2.5 Sensible Sampling.

I have been trying to archive PV using archiver appliance with SCAN mode and sampling time of 1s but was unable to archive PV values in sync with the same period of 1s. I could not see the archived data at 1 second time interval in the "Show Data" option
(using archive viewer) and in the CSV file as well. Please refer to the screenshot as attached
 I am using the default values as in the arhappl.properties file. I have tried with both the latest release and last version of archiver appliance but could not resolve the issue.
Is there anything particular has to be configured for periodic archival of data in SCAN mode or I am missing out something?
kindly let me know for a possible solution to this.
