Well, the broken-out bits (e.g. .B0) have to be linked to the INP of a binary input record ... your labels will be in the BI record (ONAM, ZNAM).

You might want to use MBBI Direct  record,  which breaks out the bits (.B0, .B1, etc..)

EPICS has a "mbbi" record type that provides an "enum" type of labelling values for the integer.  I'm looking for a record type that can label individual bits inside the the integer mask.   Does such a thing exist?
