Dear all,
node-epics-pva is now available in the following GitHub and npm links,
https://github.com/wanglin86769/node-epics-pva
https://www.npmjs.com/package/node-epics-pva
Different from node-epics-ca which is a Channel Access client wrapper, node-epics-pva is a pvAccess client wrapper that talks to the PVXS shared library using a third-party Node.js FFI package called koffi. It provides pvget, pvput and pvmonitor functions, in which pvget and pvput are simple blocking implementations.
The implementation of node-epics-pva is building a wrapper into the PVXS shared library to provide C interface and calling the C interface from Node.js using koffi. The format of data exchange between the wrapper and Node.js is JSON.
For more information, please refer to the links above, any question or suggestion is welcome.
