Experimental Physics and Industrial Control System
Hello EPICS community!
I wrote a simple multithread CA client program like this:
//some pvs_res init
ca_context_create(ca_enable_preemptive_callback);
my_ca_context = ca_current_context();
for(unsigned int i = 0; i < pvs_cnt; i++) //pvs_cnt = 4000;
{
ca_create_channel(pvs_res[i], NULL, NULL, CA_PRIORITY_DEFAULT, &pvs_res[i].pv_chid);
}
ca_status = ca_pend_io(1.0);
... ...
Everything was OK in Windows compiled with Visual Studio 2017. But when I compiled it in Linux, the program crashed when exec this line:
ca_status = ca_pend_io(1.0);
The last message showed in the terminal was:
pthread_create error Invalid argument
errlogInit failed
EPICS base is 7.0.7 release version with default configure.
My linux environment:
~ uname -a
Linux debian 6.1.0-6-amd64 #1 SMP PREEMPT_DYNAMIC Debian 6.1.15-1 (2023-03-05) x86_64 GNU/Linux
~ ldd --version
ldd (Debian GLIBC 2.36-9) 2.36
~ gcc -v
Using built-in specs.

OFFLOAD_TARGET_NAMES=nvptx-none:amdgcn-amdhsa

Any help will be appreciated.
Thank you very much!
